NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and South Claiborne Avenue can be dangerous. A white ghost bike has been there to remind people of the bicyclist who was hit by a car there and killed years ago.

Now, the NOPD is investigating the death of another person who was hit by a car and killed there. It happened a little after 8:00 on December 9, and the victim was a woman in a wheelchair.

The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

According to police, the woman was hit by a red Chevrolet Silverado with tinted windows and no hubcaps. They say the truck continued on South Claiborne in the Uptown direction.
