NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Jan. 18, 2021, two people were shot and killed in front of a home in the 3000 block of Bienville Street. Four years later, the Crimestoppers reward is set to expire on Wednesday. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
According to police, the victims were a man and his caregiver. The caregiver was identified as Ilia Henderson. A third victim was shot and survived. In the days following the attack, Henderson's family appealed to the public for help to solve the case as Crimestoppers announced a $10,000 reward.
On Jan. 29, 2023, the reward was set to expire, but it was renewed for another two years. Now it is again set to expire. If you can help solve the case, you could still collect by calling Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. You don't have to reveal your name or testify in court, and you could be eligible to earn a cash reward.
