BOGALUSA, LA (WGNO) — Check out the haul that Washington Parish deputies say they confiscated during a pre-dawn drug bust.
Deputies say they arrested two men with lengthy criminal backgrounds early Wednesday morning. The men are identified as 43-year-old Kerry Wayne Forrest and 35-year-old Kenneth Wayne Williams, both of Ann Street in Bogalusa.

Deputies say Forrest goes by the street name Pooky Wayne and Williams uses the name Koaltree.
According to deputies, Forrest has more than two dozen previous arrests. They say both Forrest and Williams have multiple arrests on drug and other charges.
The Washington Parish Drug Task Force made the bust. The group includes officers from the sheriff’s office, Franklin Police Department, and the Bogalusa Police Department.
During the bust, deputies say they seized heroin, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, narcotic pills, more than $17,000 in cash, one AR-15 rifle, three shotguns, one pistol, 16 cell phones, and four sets of scales.
Both men are booked with a long list of charges.
Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal made the following comment in a written statement regarding the bust and arrests:
“We have done our job. Now it is time for the rest of the justice system to do their job to obtain convictions and make certain these two men spend many years in prison. The streets and roadways of our parish are not safe as long as career criminals are allowed to roam free. I’m certain there are other drug dealers out there waiting to take the place of the two men we arrested. Let me assure them that their time is coming also and we always have room in our jail for one more.”
